What is the Best Way to Send Traffic to Your Squeeze Page?An email I received a few days ago reads… “Hi John, thank you very much for the information that you send me through your newsletter. My question is what is the best way to send traffic to a squeeze page to generate a lead? Thank you for the help.”

This is an important question.

Now, there’s a ton of ways you can generate traffic to your squeeze page. For free traffic you can use your blog, videos on Youtube, links with your Kindle books, traffic exchanges, list builders, giveaway events, email adswaps, Craiglist, Facebook, Twitter, article directories, blog commenting and forums to name some.

You can also drive paid traffic to your squeeze page, e.g. solo ads, PPC ads, banner ads, Facebook ads, etc.

Myself, I’ve never used paid ads but may explore this in the near future. In this article, therefore, I will focus on the best free ways to send traffic to your squeeze page to generate leads.

My first choice would have to be video marketing.

Youtube is the 3rd most visited site in the world. Their are billions of videos viewed every single day on this site. Best of all, Youtube is free for you and I to post as many videos as we want on it.

Even better, you can promote your site as much as you like on Youtube. You can promote it verbally within your video. For example, at the beginning of my videos I’ll say, “Hi, this is John Lagoudakis from johnlagoudakis.com”. Also, at the end of my videos, I’ll say something like this, “If you found this video helpful, I encourage you to visit my website johnlagoudakis.com where right now I’m offering free training on how I personally make a full-time income online. Again that website is johnlagoudakis.com”.

I also place a caption at the bottom of my videos with my squeeze page url displayed fully.

Youtube also allows you to add clickable url links in your description.

Besides the fact that Youtube gets so many visitors every day, what I love about video marketing is that you do the work once, and it continues to send you traffic for years and years to come.

Another great way to drive targeted free traffic to your squeeze page is via a blog.

Just like video marketing, blogging is fantastic because it allows you to build a great relationship with your visitor before they even join your list. Also, the traffic you get from a blog is totally passive and continues to come in year after year.

Now, you don’t need to come up with different ideas for your blog. You can take the content from a video you’ve created for Youtube and transcribe it into a blog post. You can also do it the other way around.

For quality buyer leads, I recommend that you create free reports that you offer up on the Kindle platform.

Publishing to Kindle is a great way to establish yourself as an expert. It’s free and easy to publish to Kindle. You can sign up here as a publisher and begin publishing content immediately.

If you like in the U.S. or Canada, you might want to try advertising your squeeze page on Craigslist. This is a quick and easy way to generate leads, however, the downside is that once you stop publishing new ads, you don’t get anymore traffic to your site.
