Here’s some important tips to get the best squeeze page opt in rate…

Headline

To make sure that you get their attention within the first few seconds you need to have an effective headline. An effective headline is one that tells your visitor, in an instant, what the main benefit of your offer is.

Examples of some effective headlines are:

“FREE Report Reveals How to Earn $400 Per Month Online Within 30 Days… Starting From Scratch!”

“Free Video Reveals A Somewhat Unusual Tip To Quickly Get A Flatter Belly While Still Enjoying All The Foods You Love…”

Image

Another important element of your squeeze page that will quickly capture your squeeze page visitor’s attention is an image. If it is a free report that is being offered, have a picture of the report cover on the squeeze page.

It’s best if you can capture, within your image, the desired result. For example, if you’re promoting a teeth whitening solution, then you’ll want to have someone on the cover of the report with a beaming white smile.

Bullet Points

Next to your image, have about 3 or 4 bullet points giving the other main benefits of your free gift. When I say ‘benefits’ I mean those things that are emotional to your prospects. Don’t talk features… think benefits.

For example, if you’re offering a weight loss solution, don’t talk about how many calories your meals are, or what type of exercises they’ll be doing… instead talk to them about how great they are going to look in the mirror is just 7 days from now, how everyone will tell them how amazing they look, etc.

Call to Action

Never assume your visitors know what you want them to do. Be very specific and tell them what you want them to do next.
Here’s an example of a call to action:

“Simply enter your name and email address below and click the submit button to access your free report!”

Opt In Form

The opt in form is where you capture your visitor’s information and automatically subscribe them to your email list. Here’s an example of an opt in form:

The more information you request from a visitor, the less likely they are to fill in the form. A first name and email address is sufficient. Requesting only an email address will result in a slightly higher opt in conversion.
